E-DA World (義大世界) is a resort town of its own in the hills of Dashu: a theme park, an outlet mall with a Ferris wheel on top, three hotels and a university. Come for the rides with children, or for the outlet shopping. E-DA Bus 8501 gets you there from Zuoying HSR in about 25 minutes.

The theme park
E-DA Theme Park (義大遊樂世界) opens every day of the year from 09:00 to 17:30; hours can change on holidays and in some seasons. Rides open one by one after the morning safety checks, and outdoor rides close in bad weather. New in 2026 is an immersive 5D theatre, Magic Space: Atlantis.

Good to know: teen and child prices ask for proof of age, and the park often runs promotions (in October 2026, NT$880 for everyone), so check its site before you buy.
The outlet mall and Ferris wheel
The E-DA Outlet Mall (義大世界購物廣場) opens Monday to Friday 11:00 to 22:00 and 10:00 to 22:00 at weekends and on long holidays. The Ferris wheel above it runs 14:00 to 22:00 (NT$250, children NT$180), so you can ride it after the theme park closes.
Getting there
- From Zuoying: E-DA Bus 8501 leaves from platform 5 (HSR exit 2; from the MRT, Zuoying R16, exit 1), about every half hour from 07:10 to 22:50, and takes about 25 minutes.
- From the Museum of Fine Arts: E-DA Bus 8502 runs via MRT Aozihdi and Kaohsiung Arena, about 55 minutes.
- From the Orange Line: E-DA Bus 8505 stops near MRT Weiwuying (O10), about 45 minutes.
