Rainy or hot day

Kaohsiung's summer brings heat, downpours and typhoons. Here's a day under a roof.

Head indoors and stay on the rails. Spend the morning at the National Science and Technology Museum (closed Mondays), see the Dome of Light at Formosa Boulevard, take a Weiwuying building tour in the afternoon, and finish at a mall. Most of it is a short walk from a station, so you'll barely get wet.
