Kaohsiung has something on most months. The big ones: the lantern-season festival on the Love River around Lunar New Year, the Megaport rock festival at Pier-2 in March, dragon boat races on the Love River in June, and the Wannian folk festival at Lotus Pond in October. The ones to plan around
